The Art of Neighboring Seminar - Three Part Series

Neighboring Seminar with Cameron John

The seminar was 3 session with a focus each time. Click on the link to discover what it would be like to live in a neighborhood of people to genuinely care for one another.

Part 1 was a Sunday night church service to encourage everyone to be a great neighbor.

Part 2 was a group of more than 60 people on a Monday night who wanted to look at how we go from complete strangers with our neighbors to enjoying meaningful relationships with them?

Part 3 was a similar group as the previous week who looked at the obstacles, internal and external, we face in doing this?

Where we go next?

The Edmond Church of Christ makes effort to bless families. We want to provide activities that are life-changing. Mission Edmond is one of those great opportunities.

Parents who demonstrate God’s fatherly love inspire healthier relationships. One way to teach this love is by a parent’s example of serving the less fortunate. Mission Edmond, coming October 15-18, is a convenient way for us all to care for others.

Let’s put into action some of the things we learned at our recent neighboring seminar. With summer here, we are working to make Mission Edmond a blessing again to your neighbors. After last year’s “pilot year” we are planning more activities of service for this fall. Parents and families are a key part of the success. It is a perfect opportunity for families to work alongside one another in our neighborhoods.

What you can do now:
• Mark October 15-18 on your calendar.
• Talk it up among your friends and recruit others from your class.
• Pray and watch for people in your neighborhood we can touch with our service.
